Belinda King is the Education Coordinator of Theatre Denton Theatre School. She is pursuing her Bachelor’s in Theatre at Texas Woman’s University and busy helping her husband of 26 years raise their seven children (four of whom have successfully made it to adulthood!). Belinda is thrilled to be teaching the Homeschool Shakespeare class and can’t wait to explore Macbeth with the students!
Somar Khamis is a brand new graduate with a BA in theatre performance form the University of North Texas. She enjoys acting professionally and teaching young students about theatre. She likes to make music and play with her puppy in her free time, and she can’t wait to teach Shakespeare and improv this semester! She’s so excited to meet all the students!
Mia Leavell is a junior theater major at Texas Woman’s University with an emphasis in Tech and Design. She was an instructor for Summer 2020’s Virtual Creativity Camp, and is so excited to be back teaching Creative Drama and SFX Makeup with Theater Denton for the fall. Mia is a DCTTS alumni and has volunteered for other children’s summer camps and daycares, such as Camp Code and Selwyn School Daycare.
Sara Parisa is a DFW-based actor and director. She graduated from the University of North Texas in May with a BA in Theatre Performance. She is so excited to be teaching Improv for Teens and assistant teaching Shakespeare for Kids. She can’t wait to meet and work with everyone, and to see what they create together!
My name is Destiny Holmes, I have an Associates of Fine Arts, and I am currently a Senior at the University of North Texas working on my BA in Theatre Education. I have worked with DCT theatre school on a few other occasions and I am thrilled to be back teaching our amazing students. I am so excited to be collaborating with the other directors to assist teaching the SFX Makeup class.
